Winter weather can be unpredictable, but historically the temperatures are:
Nov: 65° - 75° Dec: 60° - 70° Jan: 55° - 70°
Feb: 60° - 75° Mar: 70° - 80° Apr: 80° - 90°
When is the best time to visit Lake Havasu?
To Ride: If you’re looking for the best possible riding experience, Dec / Jan / Feb offer cooler temperatures, along with scattered showers to keep moisture in the ground.
To Relax: If you’re looking to spend the most possible time on the lake, Nov / Mar / Apr offer the most consistent warm weather, with less chance of unexpected rain popping up.
Rental Insurance
Can I use my personal insurance?
No, personal insurance can not be used to cover damage to your rental bike.
Why is personal insurance required?
A copy of personal insurance is required only as part of our identity verification process. It is not used for any other purpose.
Will my personal insurance be charged for damage caused to my rental?
No, your personal insurance will not be charged for any damages caused to your rental. Personal insurance is only used for identity verification.
What damage is / isn’t covered by rental insurance?
Our rental insurance covers accidental damage caused while riding (bashed in pipe, broken levers, etc). Rental insurance does *not* cover damage caused by intentional abuse / neglect (please don’t purposely throw your bike off of a cliff)
What damage is / isn’t covered by the damage deposit?
The damage deposit covers any excessive damage caused while riding (bashed in pipe, broken levers, etc). Normal wear and tear (minor dents / scratches) are OK and will not result in a charge.
Payment / Cancellation
Is a deposit required to book? When is full payment due?
For Rentals / Tours:
50% deposit is required upon booking to reserve your date
Full payment is due on the day of the rental / tour
For Vacations:
50% deposit is required 90 days prior to the vacation
Full payment is due 30 days prior to the vacation
Are deposits refundable if I cancel?
For Rentals / Tours:
3+ days notice - 100% of total booking refunded
0-3 days notice - 50% of total booking refunded
For Vacations:
60+ days notice - 100% of total booking refunded
30-60 days notice - 75% of total booking refunded
7-30 days notice - 50% of total booking refunded
Can I reschedule my booking instead of canceling?
Travel plans don’t always go as expected, that’s why we’re committed to working with you to reschedule your booking. Rescheduling is free and any previous deposits / payments will be applied to your new booking. Please note that rescheduling is performed at our discretion and is not a guarantee.
